A preview of a new racing multiplayer map. After many requests about adding multiplayer content, we tried fall 2008 to add multiplayer levels with original content/gameplay like the singleplayer does. This is a preview with maybe no release, all the track and lap counting system are still in progress, but you can see new vehicules that are fully functional. This video shows a new enemy that you will fight in the mod : the battledroid. Stupid but deadly, he can be fully dismembered to reduce his effectiveness : shoot off his hand(s) or arm(s) and he will be unable to use his weapons, destroy his legs and he will crawl on the floor. Destroy his head and he will be even more dumb (coming soon). The dismemberment was coded entirely in C++. This model is a prototype and will be improved in the future. This video shows a new part of the melee fighting system in starcry : dualwielding was added, the player can now use a shield with a sword, two swords, and a sword with a gun. Left weapon is used by the left mouse button, and right weapon by the right mouse button. This works when using two guns too, similar to the way it does in Crysis Warhead.
